Exciting Opportunities for Young People

At Oasis Care, in partnership with CEG (Care and Education Group CIC), we help young people explore their potential, build skills, and connect with their community.
Together, we co-design creative, skills-based workshops that are integrated into each young person’s support plan, so progress in confidence, routine, and independence is intentional and measurable.
Our Partnership with CEG
Oasis provides the safe, trauma-informed environment and trusted relationships that help young people feel secure enough to grow.
CEG brings the education and mentoring expertise, offering creative, practical and life-skill learning through community-based projects.
This partnership means young people don’t just take part in activities, they progress. Each workshop links to individual goals, helping to build confidence, connection, and independence.
What this looks like in practice:
-
Co-delivered sessions (Oasis + CEG) on-site or in community learning hubs
-
Activities aligned to personal goals like confidence, communication, and EET readiness
-
Clear outcome tracking for commissioners and families

'Story Telling' Animation Project
Residents explored the art of storytelling through animation, where they had the opportunity to tell their own stories in a visually engaging way. This project taught key skills such as storyboarding, character creation, and basic animation techniques.
By transforming their ideas into animated works, participants not only gained technical knowledge but also experienced the empowerment of sharing their unique perspectives.
"Our daughter struggles to express how she feels, and for a long time, she shut down completely. Through photography, she found a way to communicate again. Seeing her take pride in something, that was a turning point."
- F M, Mother of Resident
"This young person came from a background of trauma and was extremely withdrawn. The boxing sessions helped him channel emotions safely and gave him a reason to show up for something. It became a space where he could just be a young person — not a ‘case.’"
- Mr S Cole, Social Worker
"I didn’t think taking pictures would be for me, but once I got into it, yeah... it made me see things different. I caught shots of stuff I never even noticed before. Kinda helped me slow my head down."
- A J, Resident
Why These Opportunities Matter

Our Oasis × CEG partnership gives young people opportunities to:
-
Build confidence and self-esteem
-
Develop communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
-
Reconnect with education, training, or employment pathways
-
Experience creativity, belonging, and real-world learning in a safe setting
Across all projects, 82% of participants reported higher confidence and 78% engaged in further education, training, or structured activity within six months (post-programme self-assessments).
